about

(english version below)

(english version)
Werner Kavermann is a visual artist, painter and sculptor. And time and again he picks up the guitar in the studio and sings his own little songs. During a visit to the studio, Von Korf also picked up the guitar and soon returned regularly. Because Werner Kavermann and Von Korf fit together as if they were made for each other. Werner has a natural blues voice that others spend 30 years practicing for in vain, and Von Korf is tough-minded enough to accompany the songs with just the sounds and riffs they need, and nothing more. The album was recorded live in two days at the Mill of Friendship. On two tracks the wonderful Shabnam Parvaresh plays bass clarinet.
In his artistic work, Werner Kavermann has long dealt with the theme of crisis and catastrophe, both personal and social. His songs reflect this as well - in a detachedly humorous way. Oh, if only we too could transform all our crises and catastrophes, the small ones as well as the big ones, into beauty that way!

Von Korf Osnabrück, Germany

„Von Korf, escorting us only due to rhyme
has no advice to offer.“
- Christian Morgenstern
He who has no advice can do the primary step nevertheless. He can talk straight, spit out what hurts – while knowing, live is about sound, about moments, and home. And about action.
